The GSE Land European Urban Atlas Services provides very high resolution hot spot mapping of urban functional areas (e.g. urban audit cities; high dynamic European urban conglomerations) and indicators for users such as city governments, DG-REGIO, DG- ENV, and EEA.

This product has been evaluated, at the current stage, by the
City of Munich , by the Intercommunale Leiedal and by 3 Italian
regions: the region of Bari , Napoli and Veneto. The City of
Munich and the Intercommunale Leiedal have only tested part of the
product area.
References
Over the past 2 years, European Urban Atlas services have been
used and validated by 5 users in 4 European countries. The users
have been provided with a total area of 14,021 sqkm covered by
these services.
