Validation Protocols

The main goal of quality assurance concept is to guarantee the quality of a product. The quality assurance concept is not only approved by the service provider network, but also by the user working group.

It is important to produce reproducible and traceable results. Quality assurance not only guarantees quality, but also helps to reduce cost in production.

In the Validation Protocol, the GSE Land consortium has defined the quality assurance concept for the entire GSE Land project. In the context of GSE Land project, only mapping products are considered for an independent QA. The so-called downstream services, which are derived from the mapping products, will be evaluated by the end users of the respective service based on specific criteria and information that cannot be generalised for all downstream services.

The complete GSE Land Validation Protocol can be downloaded here.

The GSE Land Consortium would appreciate very much the critical review of this document by any interested reader in order to be able to improve the approach continuously during the project and beyond.
